  T2 Thinking KC - Explicitly teach the purpose, use and scaffold the application of mind mapping within topic and literacy. Assessment SOLO and student DLOs    Example 1

Formative assessment: use Learning Intentions and success criteria within core curriculum areas, topic and explicitly taught key competencies.  Discuss these with students and provide time for evaluation with students. Provide opportunity for students to explore the learning progressions for core curriculum areas and to review formative assessments. Use DLOs and student conversation as two measures of student understanding and to track progress against success criteria.
